Short Narratives

Although I don't know her name, let's call her Ashley, she was standing in a hotel room, eyes locked to the stranger in front of her. The other woman was blonde and had what many people calls, " bedroom eyes", let's call her Jennifer. This wasn't Jennifer's first time and she knew all the tricks to calm down her new client. She reaches out and grabs Ashley, pulling her closer. They lock lips and slowly make their way to the bed. The bed was entirely unique. It more closely resembled a long storage bench at the end of fancy bed. Having barely enough room to sit, Ashley lays down uncomfortably. While still in each other's embrace, Jennifer climbs on top. Suddenly, a woman walks in and points to Ashley, "take her!" she yells. Before Ashley was able to comprehend what was going on, Jennifer instantly jumped off, and the bed collapse into a coffin. My mom was walking around the house turning off some of the lights. Although it was approaching midnight, we were still up watching my boyfriend, Jordan, play a video game. I glanced over at her as shes makes her way towards the kitchen 's light switch. Looking at her briefly, I couldn't help but to notice her hair. Her hair was long, black, and shinny, and she had bangs similar to mine. I smiled and complimented her hair. She smiled back and said "Turn off the game and go to bed, we have to wake up early tomorrow." Cu, my 6 year old brother grumbled under his breath, but followed my mom to her room. I woke up to the familiar background noise of students roaming a hallway. I was on my way to class, but now found myself wondering around and completely lost. Holding onto my sister's hand and while looking around, I made the observation that we might be in the high school side of the building. The students were older and just chatting amongst themselves. I couldn't help but to notice the walls were an odd dark grey color, far too dark to be acceptable. Several students kept looking at us with strange stares, but we ignored them. I quickly realized that I was around my current age (20s), while my sister was much younger between 8-10. I made the assumption that I must have been taking her to class first, but somehow got lost. I woke up in a vacation rental home in Hawaii. It was a Spanish style house with red breaks throughout.The windows were nothing more then red shutters. The front door facing a small hill that led directly to the ocean. The scenery was majestic and calming. The hill had a fresh vibrant green hue throughout. And random assortment of trees at the bottom. There were neighbors on either side of the house, but far away enough for privacy. My sister and mom were surprise we were able to get the house for free through something we had won. As they checked out the place, I decided to go to the front door to find my boyfriend. I see him standing in the porch admiring the scenery. The ocean was spectacular. The water had a nearly transparent blue color that sparkled with the sunlight. My sister and I were stuck in a high rise building where power and water had stopped working. Oddly enough, Will Smith was also with us. We heard a crash and find a small creature break its way through the glass door and started scratching and biting the other residents. With each kill it grows larger. It was dark, with spines and arachnid like appendages. Fangs clearly visible and dripping with blood. As the sound of screeching terror echos behind us, we make our way towards the stairwell. We slammed the door behind us and from the sheer shock of what just happened, was left speechless in the dimly lit stairway.
